MAURO
BENDINELLI was born in Livorno in 1947. A self-taught
artist, Bendinelli reached his artistic maturity over
the years mainly through his determination, his instinct
and, above all, his strong sensibility. The artist
acquired most of his experience away from his home
town, Livorno, and spent over 10 years in Piedmont
and, later on, in Lucca. The tuscan artist's favourite
subject is clearly his countryside and so, spellbound
landscapes, sunflower and poppy fields, old ruins
and farms at sunset, seem to come alive on his canvasses
and panels. Bendinelli's paintings seem to want to
give their beholders one simple message: inner peace.
Bendinelli's works are to be found in many private
collections around the world.
