Alessandro
Parrini was born in Rufina (Fi) in 1949, impressionistic
artist known for his work...plein-air. With tenacity,
the artist follows the steps of the great Masters
and friend, Robert Smorti, to look for that post-impressionism
macchiaiolo that is congenial to him until he will
go back out with inventive, of new forms and images,
to make them an instrument of culture and prestige.
He was the 1st Prize winner of the Painting Extempore
in 1999 to the Foro Boario of Borgo San Lorenzo. Alessandro
Parrini and his paintings are well known in Mugello,
Valdisieve and in Valdichiana, where he mostly operates
and in the whole Tuscany from which he takes inspiration
for his better works. His paintings with fairy-tale
colours of the flowers and of the landscapes and of
the panoramic old streets keep his painting clear
and clean that the people like and follow him with
admiration. Moreover, Alessandro Parrini's paintings
overstepped Italian borders and today can be found
in private English, Austrian, and American collections.
This success confirmed that his painting is appreciated
as it simply is: narrative, illustrative, with its
warm colours guided by his masterly hand, growed up
with time and experience, under the guide of a great
and careful "maestro" (teacher) that succeeded
in changing a pupil into a great painter.
